The perfect long weekend getaway!
The wild bird cabin was the perfect place to stay for a long weekend getaway! My friends and I loved the views, amenities, and how close it was to downtown Wimberley while still feeling tucked away! It was absolutely perfect and could not have been a better experience!

Modern cabin
This cabin offers a wonderful combination of comfort, convenience, and modern design. The updated amenities make for a comfortable stay, while the access to the swimming pool provides opportunities for relaxation and recreation. There is also an option to rent an indoor golf simulator on site, which was great during the rain shower we had during our stay. Whether you're looking for a quiet retreat or a fun-filled getaway, this cabin is a fantastic choice. I highly recommend it and look forward to renting in the future.
Vacation
Black Canyon Wimberley has been our favorite stay.This was our third stay there . Every stay has been pleasant and great. Sally and all her staff has been great to us . Very peaceful and quiet. We love this place and can’t wait to book again!
Top notch lodging
Black Canyon was fantastic! Location, size, cleanliness, accomodating and fresh. Beautiful views from the cabin. Everything we needed was available to us. New beautiful pool. We will definitely be back when staying in Wimbereley. Thank you for being a wonderful host and communicating promptly. We had a wonderful stay.
Fantastic cabin and pool!
We stayed here for a family graduation in Wimberley. The cabin was beautiful, spacious and comfortable, and the porch/view was stunning! What a gorgeous place! We also enjoyed the pool, which is large enough to swim laps and has some good shaded areas. The location was perfect…very private but also very close to town. We plan to stay here again! Thanks Sally for a wonderful stay!

Wonderful Stay!
We had a wonderful stay! Kitchen was well stocked for food prep, washer and dryer was an added bonus, clean, comfortable bed, quiet and a beautiful view!! We saw deer, plenty of beautiful birds and a fox! We will be back!

Delightful Cottage
We booked Wildbird a year ago for TXST's graduation this year. It was a delightful cottage that We could stay in with our 25 year old daughter and our 22 year old new graduate could join us if they so choose. Which they did for a night. It was comfortable, open, and welcoming for all of us. Highly recommend!!

This was 1st stay for our out of town family/guests who travelled here from East Texas. They were very happy with accommodations at Wildbird. Already looking forward to next year's stay.
