While some folks stay here to get away from it all, it’s only a five minute drive along the Blanco River into town for shops, restaurants, and activities. When you return for the evening, kick back and savor the sunset and stargazing. Wimberley is an International Dark Sky Community with a very exciting night skies. Enjoy the plush furnishings and decor in our modern cabin. Northstar is bright and cozy with a well appointed, full kitchen - a real luxury retreat.
Our beautiful Pool Complex and Pickleball Court are only steps away and ready for your getaways and gatherings! Contact us for large group reservations more than a year out.
Our luxury Golf Simulator Clubhouse is available for hourly rentals and private parties.
Northstar Modern Cabin is on private acreage. It is very quiet and secluded, close to but facing away from Wildbird Modern Cabin.
Book Northstar, Wildbird, and Evergreen together as our Modern Cabin Trio to sleep 12 guests with plenty of privacy and space!

Pet policy:
Northstar Modern Cabin does a NOT permit animals of any kind. Both our Wildbird and Evergreen are small dog friendly.
Rules:
You must review the rental agreement prior to booking.
Check-in is anytime after 4PM and check out by 11AM.
Self check-in with keypad; code will be sent to you prior to check-in.
Quiet hours are 10PM to 8AM.
No smoking, parties, or events.
Parking for two vehicles only.
-We do not permit guests or vehicles not on the reservation. If you plan to have a friend visit, please get our permission in advance.
-Please follow the posted house rules.
-Upon check-out, please turn off all lights/fans, take bagged trash to the dumpster at the property entrance, and wash dishes.

Girls Weekend in Wimberley!
We went for the weekend to celebrate a friend turning 50 and had the very best time! Northstar has beautiful views and we enjoyed sitting out on the porch overlooking the valley. It rained a bit while we were there and honestly it just made it even neater! Cabin had everything we needed. It was simple and clean. I did note it did not have a dishwasher, which was no problem for us ladies but I don't know if I could manage that with my big family. LOL. Everything was wonderful and we enjoyed the pool too!
Fantastic Weekend in Wimberley!
My parents stayed at this cabin while visiting Wimberley for their grandson’s graduation. They loved it! The cabin had an AMAZING view of the hill country, and a beautiful porch to sit on to enjoy it. The cabin itself was beautiful, spacious, and well stocked. They also loved the pool! The location was perfect…it felt like they were out in the country but in reality they were just minutes from town. They want to visit again soon and stay at the same cabin! Thank you Sally, for making everything so easy and pleasant for their stay. We will be back!

Perfect weekend stay
Stayed over a weekend when we had business in the area. Loved the quiet setting and stunning view (morning light - gorgeous!). Perfect size and amenities, with room to move around and get comfortable. Will be back!

Excellent Place and Location!
Me and a friend of mine went on a little cross country trip for our biking hobby, and we’re glad we came across Northstar Cabin from Sally! The views and vibe were fantastic, it was different from what I usually travel for vacation. Cabin was neat and clean, and I 10/10 enjoyed every minute of my stay. Will book again sometime in winter where I will be off from college. I recommend staying here at least once to experience the beauty of Wimberley!

Beautiful place to stay! Love the house and the view. The cabin is very clean is just as the pictures. Alot of natural light. Would love to rent this place again. Highly recommend!

Great Retreat
My brother and I, and our spouses, had a nice quiet reunion at Northstar. The place is very clean, well appointed, and the view is spectacular. We enjoyed being close to town, but far enough to feel away from it all. The kitchen was well equipped, and wasn't missing any of the essentials. Our host, Sally, was very responsive to our every need, and clearly takes pride in providing a great vacation experience. We would definitely return.
